The Archdiocesan Legislative Network was created to bring Catholic values into public policy decisions. Parishioners working through the Network become active and involved citizens advocating for human life and human dignity through the legislative process, primarily at the State level. Participants can choose to be involved in some or all of the activities of the Legislative Network. These activities include: 1) responding to the mailings or phone alerts by contacting the appropriate legislator, 2) attending the legislative briefing in January to learn more about the life issues before the Maryland General Assembly, and 3) joining with Catholics throughout the State at Lobby Night. Lobby Night is held annually in Annapolis on President's Day. The Legislative Network also sponsors voter registration drives.
