Gabriel Project is a parish-based ministry designed to help women in crisis pregnancies. Sometimes the new mother or the mother-to-be is in need of mentoring and emotional support. At other times she may be needing baby supplies, transportation, financial assistance or even housing. The needs of each woman accepted into the Gabriel Project are unique, therefore, the opportunities for helping are quite varied. Volunteer opportunities range from praying for the woman, to providing material needs or transportation, or to actually offering a temporary home.

One exciting development for Gabriel Project is the establishment of a home in Montgomery County, Maryland. This home will open in the fall of 2003. A married couple will provide loving structure and serve as role models to the members of the household. This new project will be sponsored financially and with volunteers from surrounding parishes.
